Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
- Experience testing within a technical development environment on complex business applications.
- Experience with UNIX and Shell scripting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to use SQL Developer or equivalent SQL Query tool.
- Familiarity with Jira or other bug reporting system
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
- Ability to take initiative and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a drive for learning and taking on new challenges.
- Automation testing with selenium will be considered a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on software projects
- Execute in depth software testing, tracks issues and determine if system requirements have been met
- Document test cases, test results, and release notes
- Support User Acceptance Testing and provide assistance as needed
- Provide on-call production support for software releases and hot fixes
- Other duties as assigned.
